Kundalini Yoga

“Kundalini” in Sanskrit means something folded (literally a curl from the hair of a loved one). This poetic metaphor hints at the basic creative energy which according to the ancient yogi resides at the base of the spine. When this energy called Kundalini wakes up it goes through the body and balances the delicate energy system made from chakras and meridians.

Kundalini yoga can be practiced by anyone regardless of age and physical capabilities. It is effective and you can feel its power very quickly.

A Kundalini Yoga class consists of:

-warming-up exercises and/or pranayama

-kriya (a series of exercises for a certain part of the body or organ)

-ending mantra
